Heat waves to go on for five additional days in Terai.
KATHMANDU, June 10: Heat waves (Lu) are likely to be successful in Terai for any other 5 days.
On Wednesday, the Meteorological Forecasting department launched a unique bulletin and said that the Lu will keep within the Terai region for the next 5 days.
The Hydrology and Meteorology branch has also advised not to go out of the house except for important work. As it will take a few greater days for this 12 months' monsoon to arrive in Nepal, the heat will increase even more, the department said
According to the department, issues which include fatigue, weakness, excessive thirst, headache, leg cramps, dizziness, fainting, muscle ache, and vomiting may be visible while exposed to hot air.
In order to avoid heat stroke, human beings are asked to live indoors in a cool area during hot weather, not to go outside too much, wear light garments, wear cotton clothes, cover the top when going out, wear a hat, often drink water and soft liquids (juice, syrup, and many others.) The department has requested to drink plenty of water.
